Tracked claim · Unconfirmed
A PC version arrives within a year of the console launch
Widely expected on the strength of Rockstar’s past release pattern. No announcement exists, and the “within a year” figure is extrapolation rather than reporting.

Why this stays on the watchlist
It is tracked rather than dismissed because the underlying expectation is sound. It stays unconfirmed rather than moving up because a pattern, however strong, is not a source.
What supports it
Rockstar has brought previous Grand Theft Auto titles to PC after an initial console window. That pattern is real and it is the entire basis for this expectation.
- The studio has a consistent history of eventual PC releases
- A PC release is commercially obvious for a game of this scale
- Nothing Rockstar has said rules a PC version out
What contradicts it
What is missing is more telling than what is present:
- No Rockstar announcement names PC as a platform
- No PC system requirements have been published
- No PC storefront listing exists from Rockstar or a platform holder
- The specific “within a year” interval is derived from previous titles, not stated for this one
