This page is the standard you can hold us to. If the site breaks one of these rules, that is a bug, and we would like to hear about it.
Each entry is labelled Official, Reported, Rumor, Community or Debunked. The label describes where the information came from, not how likely we think it is to be true — the two are different questions and conflating them is how a fan site becomes a rumour mill. The full labelling guide explains each one.
Some of these are validation rules rather than good intentions. Content that breaks them fails to build:
We will report that a leak happened where that is itself the news. We will not:
We respond to well-founded takedown requests. Contact details are on the contact page.
When we get something materially wrong, the correction is visible on the article itself with the date and an explanation of what changed. We do not silently edit a published claim so that it reads as though it was always right.
Debunked entries stay published for the same reason. Deleting a checked claim removes the only evidence that anyone checked it.
Evergreen pages carry a last-checked date. Updating that date requires actually re-checking something — bumping a date to look current is worse than showing an old one honestly.
Submissions are moderated before anything appears. Published contributions are labelled as community content and credited to a display name. Email addresses are used only for moderation follow-up and are never displayed.
