Vice City
The game’s central city, a modern reimagining of the setting of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City — sharing a name with that game and very little else.

Vice City returns as the principal setting of Grand Theft Auto VI, this time as a modern city inside the wider state of Leonida.
Not a remake
The name is shared with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and that is roughly where the relationship ends. Rockstar describes a return to a modern-day Vice City: a new city built for a new game, not a remaster.
