Four, most recently the launch trailer on October 15, 2026
Rockstar has published four pieces of trailer footage for Grand Theft Auto VI:
- Trailer 1 — December 4, 2023. Published a day ahead of the planned premiere after a copy leaked online.
- Trailer 2 — May 6, 2025.
- An Extended Look — August 27, 2026. Premiered on Netflix, then released on Rockstar’s YouTube channel and the official Grand Theft Auto VI site the same evening.
- Launch trailer — October 15, 2026, with new music from Justice, composers of the game’s score. Added to this page on October 16, 2026.
The extended look
The third piece is longer than a conventional trailer and, per Rockstar, was captured entirely from in-game footage on PlayStation 5. It shows both cinematic and gameplay material and sets up the story’s conspiracy framing.
